Trainings for Laity

MNsource

MNsource is a resource sharing platform for churches in the Minnesota Conference. Our goal is to fuel the next generation of church leadership by providing digital resources for worship, study, and continuing education for clergy and the church at large. Anyone may submit a resource, and you can create a login so you can keep track of the resources you like best. Access all lay leadership resources here.

Conflict Management for Laity

These sessions were recorded January 22 & 23, 2021, featuring Rev. Susan Nienaber.

Conflict is inevitable, but broken relationships and broken people are not. In these trainings, designed specifically for laity in the Minnesota Conference, we will learn:

  • how interpersonal conflict almost always unfolds and the best ways to quickly de-escalate it.
  • how conflict escalates and unfolds in larger organizations like congregations.
  • how critically important lay leadership is in building conflict-competent and resilient congregations.

For support with a specific church based conflict, to arrange for Rule of Christ training, or for additional information, contact your District Superintendent or Susan Nienaber.

The workshop has been broken into four parts.
