Transformational processes: The Minnesota Conference has three revitalization processes designed to help existing churches find new ways to disciple people, share God’s love, and make a difference in their communities and the world. The processes are geared toward churches that are seeking a fresh vision, wanting to refresh their strategic plan, eager to become more vital and vibrant, and/or ready to explore new ways to connect with their mission field.  Learn more

Congregational development tools: Churches can receive specialized consulting in a wide variety of areas; learn about their strengths and vulnerabilities through a survey process; learn how first-time visitors experience worship through mystery guest audits; and receive data and trend reports or demographic information specific to their congregation or mission field.  Learn more

Marriage study guide: Members of the 2013 annual conference session authorized the creation of a study guide for Minnesota congregations on the topic of United Methodist marriage. The guide provides an excellent framework for discussion and addresses the multiple perspectives and viewpoints held by clergy and laity on whether marriage should be reserved exclusively for male-female unions or include other types of unions as well.  Download study guide

Videos: Churches throughout the Minnesota Conference are responding to God’s call to grow in love of God and neighbor, reach new people, and heal a broken world. Every year, some of the stories of the breakthroughs in our midst are told through videos, and congregations are encouraged to show these videos in worship.  View videos
