Professional Administrators of the United Methodist Connectional Structure - Minnesota Chapter

A group photo from the 2018 retreat of PAUMCS.

The Minnesota Chapter of the Professional Administrators of the United Methodist Connectional Structure (PAUMCS) offers opportunities for fellowship, support, continuing education, professional development, and spiritual growth to administrative workers within the Minnesota Annual Conference. Whether your title is secretary, administrative assistant, or office manager, and whether you are a volunteer or paid staff, PAUMCS celebrates your contribution to the vitality of churches, districts, and the annual conference.

Minnesota PAUMCS offers inspiration, continuing education, and fellowship at its annual meeting in the fall. A spring retreat is designed to renew spirits. Regular PAUMCS newsletters are sources of information. Additionally, membership in PAUMCS provides a professional connection, supportive network, and event discounts.

2021 National Meeting of PAUMCS

The Minnesota Chapter will subsidize any of our members attending the National Conference so that their out of pocket expense will be only $25! (This is $100 or $50, depending on National Member status!)

The 2021 PAUMCS National Conference is entirely virtual Thursday-Saturday, April 15-17.

The theme for the Conference is Keeping our Eyes Focused on Christ, and is based upon Hebrews 12:2, “And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”

The conference is centered around 3 different themes, while remaining Christ-focused.

  • Thursday, April 15 - Keeping our Eyes on Christ through the Role of Administrators
  • Friday, April 16 - Keeping our Eyes on Christ through the Development of Disciples
  • Saturday, April 17 - Keeping our Eyes on Christ through growing the Kingdom of God

Join us online to refresh and renew your focus on Christ through fellowship, education, and spiritual enrichment with fellow administrators. Check out the agenda, as there is an engaging and impactful line up of seminar speakers that will deepen your skills as an administrator and as a disciple of Christ. We need each other to learn from and lean on, especially in this time of uncertainty and stress. Administrators are the vital link for the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ in the world. Do not miss this opportunity! Learn more about PAUMCS.

To take advantage of this subsidy, register and pay on the web site. Then submit this reimbursement form.

(If paying upfront and receiving reimbursement presents a difficulty, contact Gail Johnson and we can handle it differently.)
