Arrangements: A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Appointment information: Rev. Hume was ordained as a deacon in 1958 and as an elder in 1961. He served churches in Kansas before serving Minnesota churches in Arlington, Wadena, Minneapolis (Trinity UMC), Aurora, Hoyt Lakes, Pipestone, and Motley. He also served at Camp Kingswood. He retired in 1996.

Mrs. Hume is survived by her children, David (Jean) Hume, Margaret Seimson, and Linda Hume (Richard Barton); four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Wesley Wagar. 

Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
