Date of death: Aug. 4, 2020 at age 99

Arrangements: A graveside service was held Aug. 7 at Sunset Memorial Gardens in St. Anthony. A celebration of life service will be planned for a later date at Evangel UMC in Rochester.

Appointment information: Rev. Robert Painter was ordained as a deacon in 1944 and as an elder in 1946. He served Minnesota churches in Cordova, Waterville, Morristown, Cannonville Marshall, and Rochester (Evangel UMC). He retired in 1985.

Mrs. Painter is survived by her children, Dan (Joyce) Painter and Marsha Painter, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Robert Painter.
