Arrangements: A funeral service took place Thursday, March 23, at Acton United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Appointment information: Rev. Marvin L. Henricks became a full member in 1936 and was ordained as an elder in 1944. He served a Minnesota church in Pleasant Prairie and taught sociology at what was then Indiana Central College. He retired in 1979.

Sylvia Henricks is survived by her children, John (Kip) Henricks, Tom (Judy) Henricks, Ann (Ted) Hansen, and Ted (Lisa) Henricks, and eight grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to Franklin Township Historical Society, the Marvin and Sylvia Henricks Scholarship at the University of Indianapolis, or Acton United Methodist Church.
