Arrangements: A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ (415 Juniper St., Brainerd).

Appointment information: Rev. Utzman was ordained as an elder in 1957. He served Minnesota churches in Racine, Sumner Center, St. Paul (First, Hope, and Faith UMCs), Hopkins, and Minneapolis (Asbury UMC). He retired in 1994.

Mrs. Utzman is preceded in death by her parents, Bertel and Marie Petersen; husbands, Harold E. Utzinger and Nicolas McConnell; brothers, Herloff, Holger, and Howard; and sisters, Pearl, Opal, Ruby, and Fern. She is survived by her husband, Donald K. Utzman; children, Michael (Carolle) Utzinger and Mark (Miho) Utzinger; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
