Relationship to conference: Husband of Rev. Cindy Yanchury, a deacon who serves Advent UMC in Eagan

Date of death: April 10, 2019 at age 70

Arrangements: A funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16 at Advent UMC (3945 Lexington Ave. S., Eagan). A visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. at the church, immediately prior to the service. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Appointment information: Rev. Yanchury was ordained as a deacon in 1998. Prior to joining Advent UMC as its minister of faith formation, she served St. Paul's UMC in Mendota Heights.

Mr. Yanchury is survived by his wife, Rev. Cindy Yanchury; his sister, Rose Dalykas; his children, Maegan Parsons (Becky Wilson), Daniel Yanchury (Melissa Klemes), and Amanda Yanchury; and his three grandchildren, Christina, Titus, and Jasper. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Frances Yanchury.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. At a later date, the family will distribute the funds to the causes nearest to Mr. Yanchury's heart.
