Arrangements: A celebration of life will occur at Messiah UMC (17805 County Road 6, Plymouth) on Monday, July 10 at 2 p.m. There will be a visitation immediately before, starting at 1 p.m. 

Appointment information: Rev. Hegele was consecrated as a diaconal minister in 1994 and ordained as a deacon in 1997. She served River Hills UMC in Burnsville and Messiah UMC in Plymouth before retiring in 2004.

Rev. Hegele was preceded in death by her parents, Truman Edward Carnicom and Winifred Ione Carnicom, and her daughter-in-law, Angela Hegele. She is survived by her husband, Fred Hegele, of Plymouth; son, Steven Hegele of Shoreview; daughter Beth (Christopher) Berg of Corcoran; six grandchildren; sister, Sandra Tredente; and family in Ohio and several other states.
