Arrangements: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24 at Hamline UMC (1514 Englewood Ave., St. Paul, MN). A light lunch at the church will follow the service.

Appointment information: Rev. Ireland was ordained as a deacon in 1968 and as an elder in 1971. He served Minnesota churches in St. Paul (Cleveland Avenue UMC and Hamline UMC), Farmington, Minneapolis (Edgewater Emmanuel UMC), and Golden Valley. He retired in 2003.

Memorials are preferred to UMCOR or Northern Pines United Methodist Camp.
