Arrangements: A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. April 16 at Hennepin Avenue UMC (511 Groveland Ave., Minneapolis). A reception will follow the service.

Appointment information: Rev. Waggoner was ordained as a deacon in 1964 and as an elder in 1967. He served a church in Louisiana before serving in Minnesota at Hennepin Avenue UMC in Minneapolis. He retired in 1994.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his three sons, Richard Waggoner, Mark (Monica) Waggoner, and Andrew (Caroline) Waggoner; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to Hennepin Avenue UMC Music Program (Put "Music Program" in the memo line).
