Date of death: Oct. 8, 2020 at age 94

Arrangements: A memorial service will be held Oct. 20 at 11:30 a.m. at Osseo UMC (16 2nd Ave. SE, Osseo). Visitation will be held at the church an hour before the service. A maximum of 50 people will be permitted in the church building during the service. Additional people will be able to listen to an audio live stream from the church parking lot.

Appointment information: Rev. High was ordained as a deacon in 1956 and as an elder in 1958. He served several churches in Indiana before serving Minnesota churches in Osseo, Minneapolis (Simpson UMC), Mankato, St. James, Trimont, St. Paul (First-Trinity UMC, later called Church of the Good Shepherd), and Zimmerman. He retired in 1992.

Rev. High was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine. He is survived by his three children, Bonnie (Kenneth) Erickson, Larry High, and Jerry (Joan) High; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
