Date of death: Monday, February 1, 2016, at age 90

Arrangements: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 11, at Northeast United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland St. N.E., Minneapolis. A visitation will begin at 10 a.m., one hour prior to the service.

Appointment information: Rev. Tappe was ordained as a deacon in 1981 and as an elder in 1984. She served Minnesota congregations in Le Center, Cleveland, Brownton, and Cosmos. She retired in 1995.

Rev. Tappe is survived by her children, Diane (Jim) Jachymowski, Howard Tappe, and Peggy (John) Habermaier; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Tappe.

Memorial gifts are preferred to Northeast United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland St. N.E., Minneapolis, MN 55418.
