Arrangements: A memorial service will be held April 22 at 1 p.m. at Community UMC in Monticello, with a lunch following. A visitation take place at the church an hour prior to the service.

Appointment information: Rev. Fritze-Tietz was ordained as a deacon in 1974 and as an elder in 1978. She served Minnesota United Methodist churches in Deerwood, Crosby, Silver Bay and Blaine. She also served several United Church of Christ churches. She retired in 2005.

Rev. Fritze-Tietz was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. William Clement Fritze and Lois Anna (Nelson) Fritze; siblings, Margaret Anne and William Clement; and husband, Larry Joseph Tietz. She is survived by her brother, Daniel Nelson Fritze, and daughters, Kirsten Marie Lauver and Rev. Sarah Anne Horsfield.
