Arrangements: A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 13 at Faith UMC (2708 33rd Ave. NE, St. Anthony).

Appointment information: Rev. Pettit began serving churches in 1985 and was ordained as a full deacon in 1997. She served Minnesota churches in Minneapolis (North UMC and Hennepin Avenue UMC) and Bloomington (Portland Avenue UMC). She also served at the Walker Methodist Senior Care Centers. She retired in 2003.

Rev. Pettit is survived by her children, Pamela Pettit, Phillip Pettit, and Geri Mechler; her siblings Brian MacNeill and Ann MacNeill; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
