Date of death: Jan. 15, 2022 at age 79

Arrangements: A funeral will be held today, Jan. 18 at 5 p.m. You can live stream the service through the Facebook page of Immanuel UMC in Corcoran.

Appointment information: Rev. Rick was ordained as a deacon in 1970 and as an elder in 1973. He served churches in Iowa and Illinois before serving Minnesota churches in Harmony  (Harmony UMC and State Line UMC), Lake City, Zumbro Falls, and Elk River. He retired in 2005.

Rev. Rick is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Willard and Louis. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Rick; daughters, Suzanne (Jon) Palmen and Kimberly (Shane) Morris; five grandchildren; sister, Elouise Koenig; and sister-in-law, Diane Rick.
