Appointment information: Rev. Haberman was ordained as a deacon in 1956 and as an elder in 1958. He served Minnesota churches in Akeley, Park Rapids, Ortonville, Kabetogama, Woodbury, and Burnsville. He was the first chairperson of the Palestine-Israel Justice Project. He retired in 1993.

Rev. Haberman is survived by his sons, Craig, Mark, John, and Mike; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Emily, and a sister, Rev. Joyce Maxine Haberman, who was also an elder in the Minnesota Conference.
