Arrangements: A memorial service was held on Jan. 7 at First UMC in Denton, Texas.

Appointment information: Rev. Eddy was ordained as a deacon in 1957 and as an elder in 1960. He served in Mankato (Centenary UMC) before serving as co-director at the Wesley Foundation at Mankato State University and as a professor at universities across the country. He retired in 1979.

Rev. Eddy is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Eddy; children, Mark, Merri, Matthew, and Michael; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
