Arrangements: A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 26, at Prior Lake Baptist Church (5690 Credit River Road, Prior Lake). A private family interment will take place before the service.

Appointment information: Rev. Dr. Abdul-Haqq was ordained as a deacon in 1952 and as an elder in 1959. He spent the majority of his career in ministry serving the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association before retiring in 1991.

Rev. Dr. Abdul-Haqq is survived by eight children, Miriam Prabhakar of Narsupur, India; Eb (Terri) Abdul-Haqq of Ballston Spa, New York; Emanuel (Jill) Abdul-Haqq of Belchertown, Massachusetts; Deborah (Mark) Haqq of Burnsville; David Abdul- Haqq of Lutz, Florida; Hannah (Anand) Jillella of Atlanta, Georgia; Elisheba (Mark) Stevens of Belle Mead, New Jersey; and Jonathan (Rachel) Abdul-Haqq of Prior Lake; 25 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother (Asghar).

Memorials are preferred to Prior Lake Baptist Church.
