Arrangements: A celebration of life was held on Sept. 27 in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Appointment information: Rev. Hull was ordained as a deacon in 1954 and as an elder in 1956. He served churches in Kansas and Ohio before serving as a chaplain and a professor of religion at Hamline University. He retired in 1996.

Rev. Hull is survived by his wife, Dixie Lee Hull; his children, David (Rosanne) Hull and Amy Lee Hull; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Nona Hull; and sons, Ernest and Robert.

Memorials are prefered to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
