Arrangements: A memorial celebration service will take place at 11 a.m. Oct. 8 at Centennial UMC's Roseville campus (1524 W County Road C2, Roseville). Visitation will be from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at Washburn-McReavy's Northeast Chapel (2901 Johnson St. NE, Minneapolis).

Appointment information: Rev. Schneider was ordained as an elder in 1954. He served Minnesota churches in Spring Valley, Preston, Faribault, Prairieville, West St. Paul, Rochester (Homestead), and St. Anthony. He retired in 1993.

Rev. Schneider is survived by his wife, Esther Schneider, of 67 years; three daughters, Kristin (Steve) Hoysler of Faribault, Minnesota, Kathryn (Daniel) Schneider-Bryan of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and Susan (Matt) Schneider Adams of Clarence, Iowa; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to Centennial UMC or Koronis Ministries.
