Date of death: March 11, 2019 at age 93

Arrangements: A funeral service was held March 15 at First UMC in Lakeland, Florida.

Appointment information: Rev. LeMasters was ordained as a deacon in 1951 and as an elder in 1952 in the Indiana Annual Conference. He served in Indiana churches before serving Minnesota churches in Sauk Centre, Ada, Beltrami, and Moorhead. He then served as a chaplain in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1988.

Rev. LeMasters is survived by his wife, Vera LeMasters; son, Doug (Jeanette) LeMasters; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Knippers.
