Appointment information: Rev. Miller was ordained as a deacon in 1973 in the North Dakota Conference and as an elder in 1975 in the Minnesota Conference. He served Gethsemane UMC in Lino Lakes. He changed his status to honorable location in 1979.

Rev. Miller is survived by his wife, Marlyce; his children, Merle, Dean, Christy, and Scott; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
