Relationship to conference: Wife of retired elder, Rev. Robert E. Scoggin

Date of death: March 5, 2018 at age 87

Arrangements: A celebration service will be held at 2 p.m. May 19 at Christ UMC (400 5th Ave. SW, Rochester).

Appointment information: Rev. Scoggin was ordained as a deacon in 1952 and as an elder in 1956. He served several churches in Texas before serving in Minnesota at Christ UMC in Rochester. He retired in 1993.

Mrs. Scoggin is survived by her husband; her children, Robert Jr., David, and Sylvia; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred to the the music ministry at Christ UMC or the Charter House Senior Living Community.
