Arrangements: Visitation 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2012, at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, MN and on Saturday, June 2, 10 a.m. at the Forest Hills United Methodist Church. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. Lunch will follow the service, and a private interment service for family members will be held at the Methodist Cemetery in Center City, Minnesota.

Family: Preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, the Reverend John C. Blackford. Together they served the Minneapolis: Emmanuel, Minneapolis: Park Avenue (associate), Hastings and Lindstrom congregations in the Minnesota Annual Conference. Survivors include their four children: Rebecca (Kenath or Skip), James (Judith), Elizabeth (Paul), and Joel; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to the family via Forest Hills UMC, 1790 11th Street SE, Forest Lake, MN 55025.

Memorials: Preferred to Forest Hills United Methodist Church in the name of the Reverend John C. Blackford. All memorials will be given to the John C. Blackford Red Rock Camp Scholarship Fund.
