Arrangements: A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 28, at Byron United Methodist Church (507 First Ave. N.W., Byron). A visitation will take place at 10 a.m. at the church.

Appointment information: Rev. Kraft was ordained as an elder in 1951. He served Minnesota congregations in Deer Creek, Ottertail, Rice Lake, Brush Creek, St. Clair, Beauford, Pipestone, Salem, and Jasper, and Dodge Center. He retired in 1986. After retirement he assisted Alden United Methodist Church and Byron United Methodist Church, where he was visitation pastor and then pastor emeritus.

Ruth Kraft is survived by her daughter, Mary (Grant) Christiansen and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold.
