Arrangements: A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Byron United Methodist Church (507 1st Ave. NW, Byron); visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be at 2 p.m. that same day at Hillcrest Cemetery in LaCrescent.

Appointment information: Rev. Kraft was ordained in 1951 and served Minnesota congregations in Deer Creek and Ottertail; Rice Lake and Brush Creek; St. Clair and Beauford; Pipestone, Salem, and Jasper; and Dodge Center. He retired in 1986 but, even after retirement, assisted Alden United Methodist Church and Byron United Methodist Church, where he was visitation pastor and then pastor emeritus.

Rev. Kraft is survived by his wife, Ruth Kraft of Rochester; daughter Mary Christiansen (Grant) of Rochester; and two grandchildren. Memorials are preferred to Correll United Methodist Church, Byron United Methodist Church, or the Red Bird Mission (c/o Byron United Methodist Church).
