Arrangements: A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, at River Hills United Methodist Church (11100 River Hills Drive, Burnsville, MN 55337). A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Monday, December 22, at White Funeral Home (12804 Nicollet Ave., Burnsville, MN 55337) and at the church, one hour prior to the service.

Appointment information: Rev. Edward Stevens was ordained as an elder in 1953. He served Minnesota churches in Luverne, Steen, Sargeant, Mankato, Eagle Lake, Staples, Pine Island, and Prior Lake. He retired in 1992.

Rev. Stevens is survived by his children, Karen (Ben) Martin, Karla Bastos, and Mark Stevens; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Stevens.
