Arrangements: A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, January 31, at Community United Methodist Church (950 Gould Ave. N.E., Columbia Heights). Visitation will take place at the church that same day, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., just prior to the service.
Appointment information: Rev. Charles H. Berg was ordained as a deacon in 1956 and as an elder in 1958. He served Minnesota churches in International Falls, Nett Lake, Burnsville, Prior Lake, Duluth, Tracy, Maplewood, and Minneapolis. He retired in 1984.
Rev. Berg is survived by his wife, Wilma Berg; children, George Berg and Andrew Berg; step-children, Bruce (Cherrie) Olsen, Dennis (BJ) Olsen, and Cheryl (Neil) Larsen; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
