Arrangements: A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 12, at Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel (11900 S. Kedzie Ave., Alsip, Illinois). A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

Appointment information: Rev. Joransen was ordained as an elder in 1941. He served Minnesota churches in Minneapolis, Anoka, Champlin, Windom, Hibbing, Duluth, Stewartville, St. Paul, and Pine Island. He retired in 1979.

Naomi W. Joransen is survived by her children, Carol Hrab, Bill Joransen, Elyse Hollingsworth, and Albert Joransen; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Rev. Stuart Joransen.
