Date of death: July 5, 2021 at age 78

Arrangements: A memorial service will be held Friday, July 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Evangel UMC (2645 N Broadway Ave, Rochester). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Appointment information: Rev. Rogers was ordained as a deacon in 1961 and as an elder in 1964. He served churches in Wisconsin before serving Minnesota churches in  Adrian, Magnolia, Ortonville, Caledonia, St. Charles, Dover, Kasson, Sherburn, Trimont, and Chatfield. He retired in 1996.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her children, Michelle (Lorne) Hedin and Katrina (Josh) Jacobson; five grandchildren; and brother, Marvin (Shirley) Fokema. She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Colin.
