Arrangements: A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 2 at St. John's Lutheran Church (301 8th Ave. NW, Kasson). Visitation will be held 3-7 p.m. Feb. 1 at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home (801 7th St. SE, Kasson).

Appointment information: Rev. Xavier was ordained in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America in 1981. He served United Methodist churches in Trimont, Dodge Center (Pleasant Corners UMC), and Kasson. He retired in 2018.

Mrs. Xavier is survived by her husband; children, Matthew Xavier and John (Caitlin) Xavier; six siblings; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew.

Memorials are preferred to the Austin Symphony Orchestra, St. John’s Lutheran Church Foundation, or the Bible camp of your choosing.
