Relationship to conference: Wife of retired elder Rev. Merle A. Dunn, who died in 2012

Date of death: Jan. 23, 2022 at age 98

Arrangements: A service will be arranged when COVID protocols allow.

Appointment information: Rev. Dunn was ordained as a deacon in 1945 and as an elder in 1946. He served churches in South Dakota and Michigan before serving Minnesota churches in Minneapolis (Hope EUBC), St. Paul (First MC), and Rochester (Homestead UMC). He also served at Westmar College in Iowa and North Central College in Illinois. He retired in 1982.

Mrs. Dunn is survived by her children, Joan Kurth (Paul) and Paul Dunn; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Dunn; daughter, Marcia Dunn; one grandson; parents; and a brother and two sisters.
