Arrangements: A family memorial service will be held.

Appointment information: Rev. Baker was ordained as a deacon in 1963 and as an elder in 1968. He served Minnesota churches in Hill City, Swatara, Hopkins, Minneapolis (Lake Harriet UMC), Austin, and Cottage Grove. He retired in 2001.

Mrs. Baker is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Olga Ireland, and siblings, Earl and Dorthea. She is survived by her husband, James A. Baker; children, Jim, Josh, and Julie; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
