Date of death: May 27, 2022 at age 96

Arrangements: A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on June 3 at Zion Lutheran Church (1200 Highway 25 S, Buffalo, MN). A visitation will be held at the church an hour prior to the service, with a lunch following the service. The service will be live streamed.

Appointment information:  Rev. Grist was ordained as a deacon in 1951 and as an elder in 1953. He served churches in western Kansas. In Minnesota, he served the Billy Graham Association until his retirement in 1991.

Mrs. Grist is survived by her children, Kathleen (Benedict) Schwartz, Minda (Joel) Squadroni, and Randall Grist; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials are preferred to All Kids Can Learn International or North United Methodist Church (4350 Fremont Ave. N., Minneapolis, MN 55412)
