Arrangements: A celebration of life will be held on Jan. 11 at 11 a.m. at Evangel UMC (2656 N Broadway Ave., Rochester). A visitation will be held at the church an hour prior to the service, and a lunch will be served afterward.

Appointment information: Rev. Roesti was licensed in the Evangelical United Bretheren (EUB) Church in 1938 and began itinerancy in 1944. He served Minnesota EUB and UMC churches in Preston, St. Cloud (now Grace UMC), Duluth (Chester Park, now First UMC), and Wells.

Mrs. Borst was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Owen, Donald, Floyd, Merlin, and Robert; husbands, Rev. Donald Roesti and Bob Borst; stepson, Greg; and two grandsons. She is survived by her children, Pauline (Steve) and Paul (Jane); stepdaughter, Susan (James); three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, MaryAnn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
