Arrangements: A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 22 at Northfield UMC (1401 Maple St., Northfield). A visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service.

Appointment information: Rev. Van Nostrand was ordained in 1955. He served Minnesota churches in Cedar, Mahtomedi, Minneapolis, Owatonna, Golden Valley, Albert Lea, St. Paul, Stillwater, Castle Rock, and Little Prairie. He also served United Methodist Churches in New England and churches in Australia.

Mrs. Van Nostrand is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her grandson, Cameron; and two brothers, Charles and Boyd. She is survived by her sons Robert Van Nostrand, David (Susan) Van Nostrand, Chuck Van Nostrand; two grandchildren; and siblings Terry (Ann) Bowdish and Bonnie Casber.
