Relationship to conference: Wife of retired elder, Rev. Richard P. Mathison, who died in 1979. Mrs. Mathison also served as the Metro East District administrative assistant in the early 1990s. 

Date of death: June 26, 2019 at age 86

Arrangements: A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20 at Hubbard UMC (12150 Broadway Rd., Park Rapids). A visitation will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the church.

Appointment information: Rev. Mathison was ordained in 1955. He served Minnesota churches in Minneapolis (Faith and Lake Harriet Methodist Churches), Aurora, Hoyt Lakes, and Duluth (Duluth University Methodist Church).

Mrs. Mathison is survived by her children, Mark (Cheryl) Mathison, Pete Mathison (Terri Sullivan), Doug Mathison, and Becki Pepin; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Rev. Richard P. Mathison; her second husband, Darrell K. Wilson; and her brother, Bruce Anderson.
