Video: Living into our inclusive vision

August 01, 2019

By: Christa Meland & Karla Hovde

At the 2019 Minnesota Annual Conference Session, we adopted a vision that names a commitment to the full inclusion of LGBTQIA+ people in the life of the church.

But you might be wondering: What does it mean to have adopted this vision? What actually changes? How will we live into this vision? And what about those who don’t feel the vision represents them? Rev. Cindy Gregorson, Minnesota Conference director of ministries, and Rev. Carol Zaagsma, who submitted the vision, answer some questions and reflect on what the vision means for our conference.

Download the video here. A study guide for congregations to engage in discussion around the vision will be available in the coming weeks; all churches are encouraged to use the study guide and video to lead conversations this fall.
