In addition to electing bishops, delegates in the North Central Jurisdiction also elected leaders to serve on various committees for the next four years. Eight of them are from Minnesota.
 
Here’s a look at which Minnesotans will be serving on which committees. Thanks to all of these individuals for their willingness to serve our jurisdiction and general church!
 
Connectional Table (nominated by jurisdictional Committee on Nominations): Dave Nuckols, a member of Minnetonka UMC

Committee on Episcopacy (nominated by annual conference delegation): Rev. Judy Zabel, serving Hennepin Avenue UMC (Minneapolis), and Faye Christensen, a member of Park UMC (Brainerd)

Committee on Investigation (nominated by College of Bishops): Rev. Cindy Gregorson, Minnesota Conference director of ministries

Court of Appeals (nominated by College of Bishops): Rev. Penny Eberhart (clergy alternate), retired clergy
 
General Board of Pensions and Health Benefits (nominated by jurisdictional Committee on Nominations): Jean Edin, Minnesota Conference benefits officer and a member of Aldersgate UMC (St. Louis Park)
 
Mission Council: Rev. Matt Sipe (elected by annual conference), serving Delano UMC, and Rev. Tyler Sit (nominated by jurisdictional Committee on Nominations), serving New City Church (Minneapolis)
