On a beautiful summer Saturday last month, Richfield UMC hosted the 4th Annual Community Carnival. The carnival featured a petting zoo, bounce house, games, good food, great music and a dunk tank. Children young and old had smiling faces and laughter was heard throughout the four hours of the gathering.

This year’s attendance was higher than ever before. More neighbors, more children/families from RUMC’s Early Learning Center, Caring For Children, and more children from the Richfield Public Schools attended. Volunteering for the first time at the carnival were the Richfield Junior Optimists from Richfield Junior High School.

The Living Waters Band provided live music, volunteers kept the grill hot and cooking, and one of the biggest draws, the petting zoo, was as cute as ever.
