Money Creek UMC's "cakes for campers" Saturday morning ministry was already an established community event. Following a tragic accident involving two young girls accidently being sprayed with an accelerant, we decided to donate the proceeds to help support these two girls and their families. Through prayer, Facebook, emails and phone calls, we managed to pull everything together in less than a week. We were expecting 50-100 people and maybe a couple hundred dollars. But the Lord stepped in, and suddenly the Rochester and LaCrosse media got ahold of the story and over 500 people showed up to support Chloe and Annabelle.

The total keeps rising, but over $8,000 has been given to the family to help these little girls in their recovery from burns over 70% of their bodies. This money will go a long way in helping to defray medical costs related to recovery. It was an awesome event to have been a small part of! Praise God for his mercy and grace!
