During the 2011 Solid Rock Mission Trip to New York City, God blessed me by letting me witness my two teenage sons be truly touched by God's Holy Spirit. It was during their last concert at the home church of one of the Solid Rock parents in New Jersey. The concert was held after spending several very hot & busy days in New York City without much sleep. During the concert, my 18-year-old son, Steve, was singing "Empty Me" and became so overwhelmed by the meaning of the song, he had tears streaming down his face. My younger son, Jake, 15, was singing "God With Us" and was so overcome with emotion that he could not even sing. Tears were pouring down his face. After the concert, I asked  Jake why he was crying and he said he could feel God's presence while he was singing. He said that during rehearsal, he was so physically tired he didn't think he could make it through the concert. Then during the concert, he felt God with him , that God gave him strength to sing.

God certainly blessed me by letting me witness both of my sons being touched by God's Holy Spirit. It is something I will never forget. And I thank God for blessing me in that way.
