Church: East Chain UMC

Submitted by: Alice Barnes

There is on place to stop for a cup of coffee in the little village of East Chain, MN. The UMW ladies decided to open our doors to the commuity the second Saturday morning of each month for a community coffee fellowshi[p. Coffee, juice, and rolls are served. There is no cost, but a freewill donation is accepted.

This fellowship has been in place for more than half a year. It has been so successful that people who stop by are asking us to have them twice a month!

This community outreach is simple to serve, attended well, and appreciated. Some months we have offered a garden produce, bargain, or bake sale table too.
