Criminal activity and violence are rising for "soft targets" like churches and schools. The mission of this security worksop is to bring together safety experts from the fields of security ministry, protecting educational facilities, workplace violence prevention, group violence and mass murder. The presenters share their expertise to support church leaders, administrators, facilities managers, safety directors, emergency respondents, volunteers, ushers, and all those dedicated to protecting soft target locations.

Keynote speakers: Carl Chinn will present "Surviving an Active Shooter: New Life Church, What happened next?" James Densley will present "Crime Opportunity Theory: How to Strengthen Soft Targets" Jarret Brachman will present "Deadly Force at Soft Targets"

Breakout Sessions will be led by experts from the FBI, US Bancorp, Bethel University, Grace Church, and Kingswood Security, covering topics such as Situational Awareness, Fundamental Security Principals, Mitigating Risks, Action Plans, and Violence Strategy & Prevention.

Lunch will be served at the event and is included in the registration fee. Vendor sessions and door prizes, too!
