Socratic seminar, scripture gatherings, rabbinical study – Scripture Circles are a highly engaging, safe space to explore deeply with the Lover of our souls and peers, the sacred text and your own heart. The flavor of each study is brought forth as the participants share what is on their hearts and minds, grounded in personal perspectives. The space allows clergy to savor the Spirit without critique or agenda. Imagine spiritual direction with deep bible study!

As a way to pour back into you, we are offering clergy in the Dakotas and Minnesota Annual Conferences a facilitated, virtual discussion based on the needs and thoughts of each clergy in the group. Scripture Circle Cohorts are created for deepening relationships and building trust-based discussions.

More about Julie:
Julie’s passion and craft is to help people connect with each other, the Spirit of God, and the sacred text. As clergy gather online, it's joyful to hear what the Spirit is already doing in people's hearts! From those gathered thoughts a scripture emerges, and the study begins. Julie is studying Hebrew. She is certified as a life coach with AG Coaching Coalition and International Coaching Federation, and experienced elementary and middle school teacher. Julie was a missionary kid in East Africa, daughter of Pastor Ray and Nina Martin, taught in Japan, and loves to travel and meet new people. Julie’s husband, Shawn, is a genealogy nerd, pastor and coffee enthusiast and serves in the Dakotas Annual Conference. They have 4 children and a dog.
