Join other knitters from across the state for good conversation, to enjoy the fireplace, and for mini workshops on technique, gadgets, websites, and topics you choose. There are snowshoes available to use and you are invited to walk around the camp and down to the lake. There are cross-country trails nearby if you wish to bring your skis.
Knitters are welcome to arrive on Thursday starting at noon to begin knitting and building the mini workshops list. Northern Pines won’t be serving meals until supper on Friday, but until then, you can bring food (there is a full kitchen to use) or venture into town to dine at a local restaurant.
Each day will include morning devotions, knitting, mini workshops, fun discussion, and more knitting. You are welcome to take breaks to rest, hike, or ski. This time is yours to design. On Sunday morning, there will be devotions/worship and knitting time, as well as Sunday breakfast. You are welcome to stay until 3 p.m.
What to bring: Your knitting projects and supplies; pillow, bedding, and towels unless you wish to use provided ones for an extra fee; personal items (comfy clothes, slippers, etc.); flashlight; pillow or cushion for chair; snack to share; outdoor clothing for break time
