Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Financial Counseling and the Dakotas-Minnesota Area of the United Methodist Church have partnered together to provide ongoing support and interactive workshops around the topics of federal student loans and Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
What is happening with the pending Biden Harris Act? Have there been changes in the PSLF program? Is loan forgiveness actually happening? In fact, it is! Individuals in our annual conferences and beyond have had their loans forgiven.
You may have heard about the many changes to the federal student loan program regarding Public Service Loan Forgiveness, Income Driven Repayment options, and the potential Biden-Harris debt relief. This workshop is to provide information, explore your options in repayment, and help create your next steps. We'd like to support you on your journey with your student loans. You don't have to do it alone! Bring your questions and a friend. We are here to answer questions, listen to your concerns, and share success stories.
All are invited. Clergy, laity, conference staff, church staff, and anyone who works in public service jobs that has federal educational loans will benefit from this information. This informative workshop for individuals trying to navigate the federal student loan repayment space is free!
