March is Women’s History Month and the theme this year is Celebrating the Women Who Tell Our Stories. You are story-tellers week in and week out! We celebrate you!
Bishop Lanette Plambeck is gathering with smaller groups of clergy in her first year here to hear your stories, to learn about your ministry contexts, the unique challenges and opportunities you experience, and what you most need from your bishop.
In this Women’s History Month, we invite you to grab a cup of tea or coffee and join Bishop Lanette for a virtual conversation on Wednesday morning, March 29 from 9-11:30. This in an informal time of conversation and sharing. Bishop Lanette will offer some questions for our time of conversation and invite us to be in prayer for one another.
Yes, we will just have gathered the week before in our all clergy day, but the focus of this gathering is a chance to talk specifically about what it means to be a woman in leadership in ministry and how we can strengthen our collective community and support one another on this journey as well as dream a bit about the future of the United Methodist movement in Minnesota.
