The MNUMC launched its first church revitalization cohort in 2011 with the Healthy Church Initiative (HCI), since then over 90 congregations have gone through some sort of assessment process to review their history in order to chart their future either in HCI, MCCI, or Missional Journey.
As church leaders who have gone through this process, we want to say, thank you for all of your hard work with a reunion event for you to meet one another and share your own stories.
The reunion day is Thursday, November 8 at First UMC of the Saint Cloud Region (Sartell) from 10am - 3pm.
We will begin the day with time for you to connect with one another, eat lunch, and then learn how to create a movement utilizing the power of social media with our guest speaker Jenna Redfield.
Jenna Redfield is owner of Jenna Redfield Creative and curator of Twin Cities Collective (TCC), a local movement made up of entrepreneurs, bloggers, brands, and creatives. Through Jenna’s leadership, TCC has over 11K followers on Instagram 2.2k Facebook group members, and has over 1k local businesses involved with the collective. She knows how to start, sustain, and grow a movement on digital platforms. Jenna also has experience working at a church and is active in the young adults groups at Wooddale Church in Edina. She is an expert at what she does and she will teach you how to utilize your social media and website to create a movement that will attract and engage more people than ever before.
This invitation is for pastors, staff, and church leaders who have gone through the revitalization process and is invested in you congregation's future.
Space is capped at 160, so please register for this event by November 5.
We hope to see you there.
